5.0 out of 5 stars Finally a Controller for people with big hands., July 20, 2002
By Conrad Mueller "Dustin" (Casper, WY United States) - See all my reviews
The standard controllers are good if you are a small person or if you simply like a small controller. This is a full sized controller that has the added advantage of a programable macro button. Mine has performed flawlessly and is much easier for me to handle than the standard one. If you have big hands or just like the idea of a programable macro button, it is the only way to go.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, but not that great either..., February 2, 2002
By A Customer
If you're used to the feelof the standard GameCube controller, you'll probably have a tough time with this one while playing games that require good control. These are games like Smash Brothers and Star Wars. There are a lot of differences that just makes it too dang hard to get used to, like a larger size to start out with. My hands are average size and still the regular controller feels awesome in my hands. But this MadCatz thing... just feels too big. It takes longer to reach buttons and that can be costful in games like SSB when you're playing 2 other people and a larger size just isn't neccessary. To add to that, you have a big problem with the two analog sticks. There's not really a good amount of resistance on there like on the regular controller and the left analog stick doesn't have that nice grip that you normally get. Overall, it's just a cheaper feeling but it gets the job done, just not as good as the regular controller does. But if you absolutely HAVE to get this controller for the price, I would recommend you let that be your friends controller.

2.0 out of 5 stars Waste of Money, June 21, 2002
By Steven LeRoy (California) - See all my reviews
When i purchased this controller, i was expecting it to have a nice grip and a comfortable hand position. I was dead wrong. The "grips" aren't even considered that. It is hard plastic and the C-Stick is very flimsy. The "A" button makes a loud obnoxious sound when pressed and the controller just feels WAY too big. This is a downright waste of money. I am most likely going to sell it at a garage sale and buy the new wireless controller.

2.0 out of 5 stars Durability is questionable
After only two days of use, the buttons began to stick. Several months later the controller is almost completely unusable. I would recommend getting something more durable.
