I first saw Quitter live at the Middle East Club in Cambridge, MA, and oh man, did they blow me away? Hell yeah, and then some. The opening track on this debut EP, Black Box, kicks off with guitarist Ian Ross laying down some sterling flanged lead work, and he just never lets up throughout the EP. Solid, powerful vocals from frontman, Hari Hassin. Standout, rythmic bassline, and top-notch drumming, combined with excellent timing. This is the stuff legends are made of. These guys have it all, style, attitude, stage presence, and the sound that can back up all the hype that you'll hear about this band.

There is NO weak material on this 6 track EP, but the standout tracks are Black Box, Blind, and Fools Gold. But make no mistake about it, there's no fools gold on this CD, this is absolutely 24 carat. Rawk just doesn't get any purer. BRILLIANT!
