5.0 out of 5 stars mmke, July 31, 2004
A chaotic, über-weird mess with only drums and ugly distorted guitar. "Songs" approximately 5-10 seconds long. Of course it's 5 stars. Duh.

Person nr.1: "hi,nice waether =)"
Person nr.2: "Hahahaha. Hahahahhhah." *pops in Asristir Vieldriox*
Person nr.1: "arghhhhrhrHgh.f" *brain melts and stuff*
*Person nr.2 eats cornflakes*

4.0 out of 5 stars Not for the uninitiated... at all, January 7, 2009
By Hubert Whipple (Obviously at my computer) - See all my reviews
Understandably, people either hate this record with a passion or think it's one of the coolest records ever. The reason is, like most products which leave people so divided, is that it's far from your typical album. Guitarist Mick Barr and drummer Josh Blair have created an album with 99 songs (which is only one short of the amount you can program into a CD) totaling 12 minutes in length. How is this possible, you ask? The average length is maybe 5 seconds; the longest song approaches 30 seconds. What this means is that each song is about 2,349 BPM and has such a complex structure it scarcely sounds composed. Obviously, this results in some repetition, which is why I docked it a star. It's never boring, though, and the songs are nothing like the end of "a really bad rock song" as a certain, to put it bluntly, stupid reviewer stated in his "critique".

Like all Mick Barr-related releases, approach with extreme caution if you've not heard any of his stuff. But I think this is a really good album, and a worthwhile investment for fans of the experimental metal genre.

4.0 out of 5 stars A challenging release well worth the effort, September 18, 2003
DC's most demanding band play to the ADD set on this particular release. Not one song reaches the minute mark, no wonder there's 99 songs present. It'll take at least 5 tries before this album will "click" with the listener. It's an album that's every bit difficult as it is thought provoking

1.0 out of 5 stars Well at least it's short.
You know the few seconds of noise that appear on the end of bad rock songs, because the band doesn't know any other way to end a song? Read more
