Product Description

Product Description
This pocket-sized CD player from Classic is much smaller than a standard CD player because it uses smaller 3-inch discs. It has 45 seconds of skip protection for CD-Audio formated discs and 120 seconds of anti-shock for MP3s. The bass boost circuitry makes your music sound richer and more full. Even with the reduced size, each disc can hold several hours of digital MP3 music. It has never been easier to take your favorite music with you.

2.0 out of 5 stars Bad LCD, May 22, 2002
By Wesly Presnall (Birmingham, Al) - See all my reviews
I have the same problem as Joe. I bought this from Circuit City. The same night I bought it, the LCD starts messing up. First it gives me upside down invert text, other times, it gives me Big test where I can not read it right. I exchanged that one. This one dose not have the same problem with the LCD. This problem causes the LCD to not show up at all. It plays great but I want to be able to change to different songs. I can not change to different songs if I can not see the options.

5.0 out of 5 stars XLNT, 4hrs on little pocket CD-Rs, Xlnt quality, January 2, 2002
By "qassis" (Leesville, La.) - See all my reviews
This is a GREAT little MP3 player. Those tiny little CDs hold about 4 hours of MP3 music! The sound quality is great. For better volume, use your own headphones though - the ones that come with them are a bit low on volume.
Compared to other full-size CD MP3 players, this tiny little guy is sure nice!
Batteries last about 8 hrs. There is even a LCD window where you see the songs, can scroll through them, play 'em all or program your favorites.
The 3 CDs that come with it give you about 12 hrs playing time (they're blank - you need a CD Writer to put the music on 'em.
For the money, I can't find a better deal anywhere. Compared to many a bit more expensive - THIS is the one I'd recommend.
120 seconds anti-shock is pretty cool too. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I'm enjoying mine!

3.0 out of 5 stars almost there, May 6, 2002
i really think that 3" mp3 cd players are an almost ideal mp3 player as they can be quite small and quite inexpensive, but i've had three of this model so far and all have had the LCD either be defective right out of the box or within two days of use. plus it would be nice if this player was a little smaller. but unlike a full-size portable cd player, this fits in your pocket quite well. and 3" cd's are quite a bit cheaper than virtually any other form of memory expansion, and cd-rw discs work great. the skip protection seems ok, but it would be nice to have a hold option so that you don't accidentally bump the player and affect the play. the pouch with belt clip is nice, but i would rather have a clip as part of the player as i don't generally wear an actual belt. i can't wait to find the right 3" mp3 cd player, but without a working LCD, this one is not quite it.
