I have owned this pot for 2 years. I have also bought it for a gift and she loves it too. Rivals only mistake with it was poor and mis-understood advertising. They failed to put the word "electric" up front. It is great. Goes from warm to over 400 degrees. It is a high quality stainless steel. If I had to say anything negative about it, it would be the lid. I dont like glass lids with only small vent for steam, so I do substitute with a t-fal lid I have that fits it well. [...]. Hardly ever find it anymore. Only other electric cookpot I have ever had that was as good was the Oster Super Pot. Wish they still made it. So if you like to cook large amounts for family/group or for freezing, this is the one!
