The Freedom Zoom 130 is programmed with a variety of shooting modes to optimize results under specific conditions, such as the night-portrait, landscape/night-view, and exposure-compensation modes. Its protective and stylish sophisticated stainless-steel front shell makes it a camera that you’ll want to bring everywhere you go.

Features:

3.5x Zoom Lens ranging from 37.5mm - 130mm
The Freedom Zoom 130 is perfect for vacations and gatherings of family and friends. Take advantage and zoom in for a dramatic close-up or zoom out for a breathtaking wide angle. The high-performance lens uses aspheric elements in its design, assuring beautiful, crisp shots.

Full-auto
The Freedom Zoom 130 automatically focuses, sets exposure and flashes when necessary. This allows the user to capture special moments with point-and-shoot simplicity.

Stylish, High-quality design
The Freedom Zoom 130’s elegantly sculpted body has a front shell made of quality stainless steel for protection and sophisticated design.

Four-beam Multi-AF
The Freedom Zoom 130 is equipped with Multi-beam AF. The camera uses an increased number of beams for the purpose of improving focus accuracy and with off-centered subjects.

Film Chamber Lock
The Film Chamber Lock function is included to prevent accidental opening of the back-cover.

Auto flash
The Freedom Zoom 130’s exposure system automatically determines when flash is necessary.

Night-portrait
This mode synchronizes the flash with slow shutter speed to balance the subject exposure with the background illumination.

Red-eye reduction
This gives the subject a more natural look by substantially reducing the common red-eye effect.

Exposure-compensation
This mode cancels flash and increases exposure value by +1.5 EV to effectively make subjects appear true to color.

Landscape/night view
This function sets the autofocus to infinity for postcard quality landscape shots and night scenes, even through glass.

Silent Rewind
The Silent Rewind function reduces the distracting noise of the film-transporter motor when the film is rewound. This is an important feature when wanting to remain inconspicuous during quite moments.

Date/Time Imprinting
The built-in quartz data back imprints the date or time right onto the photo, making it very useful for cataloging photographs and making photo records of important events. Data imprinting can be turned on or off as desired.

Remote control
The IR Remote Control RC-3 with immediate and 2 second delay, allows the photographer the opportunity to shoot without having to hold the camera. The IR Remote Control RC-3 range can be from as far away as 16.4 feet (5m).

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy, yet affordable, July 30, 2002
By Kelly (Valencia, Ca USA) - See all my reviews
This camera was very easy to learn how to use. I have never had pictures come out this clear and prestine. I highly recommend this camera for anyone who is not a professional photographer but wants professional quality. I love that this camera is small and will fit anywhere. It looks great too! I don't, however, recommend this camera for action shots. Too much of a delay.

5.0 out of 5 stars vhorner, March 21, 2003
By A Customer
Great camera. After trying 5 other brands, this was the best. It isn't noted, but the camera also comes with a case and a battery. Zoom is very fast and retracts quickly. Flash is a bit slow, but given the other cameras on the market in terms of quality, speed of zoom (very important to me), small size, well-located viewfinder and easy to work/well located controls, a slightly slow flash is a trade-off I am willing to make. Like cars, there is nothing out there right now that is going to give you the whole perfect package - this camera is by far the best out there!
