About the Artist
UP SyNDROME. What does it mean? Where does it come from? I heard their guitarist is fat cuz he eats neighborhood cats. Is it true their drummer only has one nut? I heard the singer is secretly dating Britney Spears. Did they kill their bassist? While we may not supply all the answers to your questions and concerns, here’s a little bit about this super bitchin band…

UP SyNDROME is a four-piece punk rock band hailing from Orange County, California. All the members each have symmetrical bodies. They each have 2 eyes, 2 arms, 2 hands, 2 legs, and 2 weeners (only on Tuesdays).

After performing with the Ataris at 2 sold out shows in June and November of 2000, UP SyNDROME went on to sell out their own headlining gig at the Chain Reaction in Anaheim on July 7, 2001. On February 9, 2001, UP SyNDROME performed for the first time on the prestigious main stage of southern california’s the Glasshouse and was then asked back to headline just 3 months later in May. Over 750 crowd-surfing crazy fans discovered the orgasmic bliss of the live show that could only be brought to you by US. On March 31, 2001 UP SyNDROME was a part of Chain Reaction’s 2nd largest sold out crowd ever for the venue (just under New Found Glory). And UP SyNDROME proudly co-headlined the House of Blues in Anaheim on August 30, 2001 with their friends Nerf Herder to a SOLD OUT crowd…

Southern California listeners to the World Famous 106.7 KROQ got the opportunity to hear UP SyNDROME played on the air Tuesday, October 30 and Wednesday October 31 on the Kevin & Bean morning show with their song, "I Wanna Get Some on Halloween." On the night of Oct. 31, 2001 UP SyNDROME’s 1st Annual Halloweener Fest at Chain Reaction became the first and only show to be evacuated by the Fire Marshall. Go U.S.

Product Description
So what kind of music styling does "Erase The Past" have to offer? Energetic, melodic punk rock. Angst? Indeed. Poppy? At times. Fun? Always. This 7 song EP is sure to please all. "Erase The Past" will do just as it says, after one spin you'll forget about the other CD's in your collection because that's the past and this is now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Yes Yes YESSSSSSSS!!!!, July 28, 2003
By Philomena (Houston Tx) - See all my reviews
All i can say is that this EP hasn't left my cd player since i got it. It's the first cd that i can accually agree that every song rocks. I know some people might be taken back because it doesn't have alot of tracks on it..only 7 to be exact, but dude-it sure beats the hell out of those full-lenth,14 track cds that only have like 2 or 3 good songs on it. So just don't judge Up Syndromes cd by the booklette cover thingy- buy it and be amazed!

5.0 out of 5 stars mmm, UP SyNDROME.., September 30, 2002
By Mitch (charlotte) - See all my reviews
Good stuff, the album description pretty much says it all. Far better than the majority of the mainsteam 'punk rock' music out there.

Good lyrics, catchy guitar riffs, and a cover of GnR's Patience = greatness.
