Product Description

Product Description

The Memorex ScrollPro Optical Mouse contains a PS/2 connector and comes with a PS/2-to-USB adapter. Its key features include an ergonomic, innovative design and high functionality. The mouse is perfect for left-handed people too. It is IBM-compatible and can therefore run on nearly all modern PCs. Using the supplied software (driver), you can specify your own scroll and zoom function settings. This allows you, for example, to scroll effortlessly while you're surfing the Internet or working with a text-editing program. You don't need to use the scrollbar or the arrow keys. The scrolling direction depends on the direction in which the mouse is moved and the way the mouse buttons have been configured. And of course, the usual Window settings such as cursor speed, mouse pointer display can still be selected via the "Control Panel" and "Mouse Properties" menu.

5.0 out of 5 stars As good as other standard mice you can find today, October 13, 2009
This mouse is as good as the major brands of mice you can find in terms of quality, precision and durability. You can be assured it performs to your PC optical requirements for input devices. No regrets buying this reliable gadget from Memorex. The only drawback is its big shape which may not be suited for smaller palms, slightly short cable- 1.5m and P/S2 plug(But works with a USB adaptor).

2.0 out of 5 stars This Mouse Hates Keyboards, October 15, 2002
It really isn't that this mouse is the worst, it is just that it seems to be useless if you do not have a basic keyboard (ie: just the 101 keys, no easy one-touch access keys).

When I used my basic keyboard it worked fine, no faults. But with the enhanced keyboard it would lock up the computer or just stop functioning.

So instead of buying this mouse, you should look into the Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical. For only a couple of dollars more you could have the reliability and stability of a mouse that will be fully supported by a Windows system.

1.0 out of 5 stars computer crashes, September 18, 2002
By A Customer
After installing this mouse from the disk, which you have to do if you want the scroll to work, my computer constantly freezes, then shuts down and restarts.
