JVC's MX-K30 compact stereo includes a three-disc carousel changer, a full-logic cassette deck, an FM-AM tuner with 45 presets (30 FM, 15 AM), a multicolor display, and a rocking 70 watts per channel. The MX-K30's cloth-grille speakers have a 5.375-inch cone woofer, a 2-inch cone tweeter, and an extra .25-inch dome tweeter for sparkling treble clarity.
The CD player offers play exchange, letting you swap two discs while the third plays, and 32-track programming. A single-bit digital-to-analog converter delivers music with clarity and punch. CD synchro-start recording makes copying discs to cassette a cinch. Three preset equalizer curves and four simulated surround sound settings (dance, club, hall, stadium) let you tailor the system's sound to any musical preference. The MX-K30 comes with a full-function remote control.
