5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!!!, May 18, 2002
By Bill Trainor (New York NY) - See all my reviews
This is one of the best albums I've bought in years.
Danny Heines' guitar playing is amazing! I heard him on the radio the other day and was impressed enough to go out and buy this disc. There are a few singers along with him that sing everything from Russian folk songs to totally
seamless melding with the guitar. Danny also throat sings
which sounds just like a didgeridoo. Very world. Very Cool.
I have been waking up to it every morning. Beautful!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Album!, October 22, 2005
I stumbled upon on this is a used cd bin and took a chance because it looked intresting. Holy cow! What an album. Very refreshing guitar work and intresting arrangements of folk melodies make this one of the finest cd's I've heard all year. Talented musician that should be better known. Now to check out his other albums. A++++++++

5.0 out of 5 stars Magical, March 4, 2005
By D. A KENNEDY "read ranger" (Santa Cruz, CA, USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Danny Heines is a truly gifted talent. His music is peaceful and inspiring without being derivative or overproduced. It is original and fresh without being too different to enjoy. The guy has an ear for what works, and is never redundant. This latest of many fine efforts adds unique vocals for just the right amount of flavor and fleshing out of his artful tunes. Make a gift of this cd to someone you appreciate. Money well spent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Moving, Meditative, Energizing, Inspiring
This album is a trip through all of the above. The guitar playing is out of this wolrd. And the throat singing----MY GOSH! Powerful, powerful album.
