Sony Xplod CDX 555RF features RF Package - an add-on audio system comprised of a CD or MD changer, a CD controller, and an RF modulator, which is used to add CD or MD playback ability to virtually any car radio. A digital filter calculates 7 additional samples between the actual samples, which provides a closer representation the original analog signal, and therefore better sound quality. Sony's D-Bass unique low-frequency enhancement system provides up to 18dB of gain to frequencies below 75Hz, without midrange coloration or interference.
