Panasonic combines innovative space-age technology with elegant styling. The high Performance PanaBlack Picture Tube improves contrast by as much as 40% over conventional televisions. Crisper images, more brilliant and sharper focus creates a feeling of depth that will almost pull you into the picture. Panasonic redefines the words light, sound and color creating a new dimension of viewing enjoyment.The CT-27G7D is equipped with a 2 Line Digital Comb Filter, which digitally separates or "Combs" the luminance (black and white) and chrominance (Color) from incoming video signals. This process minimizes color streaks wavy edges and increase picture resolution. The CT-27G7D also features Artificial Intelligence (AI) Sound that controls the volume level automatically to prevent wide variations in volume among different TV channels and types of programming. Auto Programmable Scan automatically tunes all available channels in your area or cable system into memory, and then lets you add or delete the channels of your choice. When the TV is turned on for the first time, an Auto Setup menu appears on the screen with instructions for selecting the menu language, and programming TV channels into memory. Channel Lock and Game Guard functions let parents control television use and prevent video games and other video sources from being displayed on the TV. You can lock out up to 4 channels, all channels plus all video inputs, or channels 3 & 4 plus all video inputs for either 12, 24 or 48 hours. With Channel Lock, a user-programmed 4-digit code must be entered to deactivate the feature. An ID of 1 to 4 characters, such as 4NBC or WNET, can be assigned to up to 30 channels. This feature comes in handy when cable systems assign different channel numbers to familiar network stations.

I got this TV at Circuit City about three weeks ago. I like it a lot. The picture quality is very good, everything is nice and crisp and colorful. The sound is good also, although this TV comes with what Panasonic calls A.I. sound I turned that off as to me it seems to sound better with it off. Of course I did have a problem with this TV. The first one I got, after I got it home and set it up turned it on and after watching for a little while I noticed that the picture was not straight on the top you could see it would sloop down. So I had to pack it up and return it. I got the same one and that one seems to be better, but on the bottom I can see where the picture is not straight again. This time it is not that noticeable. I would probably say that most people would probably not even notice the sloop but I did and it bothered me. Overall it is a good TV.

I have owned this TV for over a year and it is reliable and easy to use. The connections are all labeled, the instruction manual was easy to uinderstand and the picture and sound are stunning! I have since added a DVD player and speakers to the TV and it keeps on humming.
great value, great machine!
