Product Description

Product Description

Movie lovers, rejoice! This Toshiba TheaterWide 65H82 television delivers everything you've been dreaming of. DFine high-speed velocity scan modulation improves contrast and overall picture sharpness by changing the speed of the electron beam as it transitions between bright and dark areas of the picture. HD Dynamic Contrast continually analyzes picture information and enhances those parts of the picture with the most detail information, which results in a sharper, deeper, more film-like image. SRS 3D sound field expander system creates a wide 3-dimensional sound field from the television's internal speaker, which enhances sound quality without the addition of external speakers. And with Direct Video Input Selection inputs can now be directly selected from the remote's numbered keypad without scrolling through all the inputs. Superb performance and comfort - that's what marks this TV.

5.0 out of 5 stars Only the strong survive, October 24, 2002
By "bigcurl" (Georgia) - See all my reviews
When taking a look at projection tv's of this size, one would expect to see some flaw in the picture. Sitting at the right distance (ten to fifteen feet) away the picture will blow your mind. I have seen this side by side with a 65' inch Mitsubishi and a 60' inch JVC. The only one that even stood up to the challeng was the Mitsubishi. But in the end it failed, in my eyes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Going Big? This is it$$$$$$$$, February 2, 2003
By Daniel Amaral (Fremont, CA United States) - See all my reviews
Overall a great television, takes some time to get used to the picture because the screen is so big. Becareful, because you need a big living room to put this bad boy in, cause there is a minimum distance you need to be able to watch it clearly without your eyes hurting. I first had the couch too close and my eyes started to hurt but if you pull back the distance, the pictures are great and definetly worth the $ for the big size. Perfect for DVDs. Buyers should purchase a warranty plan because all Projections will go bad no matter what!!!! The projecter will eventually lose focus after 2-3 years and pictures are distorted so must consider when purchasing "PROJECTION TVs."

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent TV, January 3, 2003
By A Customer
This is an excellent High Definition TV. It gives an absolutely perfect HD picture. It has all the inputs you could want. The only thing lacking is the ability to switch audio when in PIP.

I have had this TV for 3 years, and it has been a great performer. Very good value for the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great set - but it needs lots of space because of its size.
This set has a great feature set and a wonderful picture. What I really like about it is it's mutiple component, S-video, and analog inputs. Read more
