5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this album!, December 4, 2002
By "drahkmaar" (Spokane, WA USA) - See all my reviews
If you are into dreary-sounding music with Elvis-from-Hell vocals, this is the album for you. I personally know the vocalist from this band, and personally I believe this album to be nothing short of paradise.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Death Rock Masterpiece!, June 12, 2008
"Death of the West" is a masterpiece -- and a very worthy successor to "King Fear". If you have any interest in heavy music with occult themes, you should definitely check this out. The music is appropriately described as "Death Rock", which means the vocals are prominent, but the guitar is still loud and heavy. The songwriting and lyrics are so well-crafted and intelligent, it puts most other bands to shame. This is not your typical satanic "shock rock" music -- it's the real deal, steeped in the rich pagan history of Europe and places to the East, to the origins of occult mysticism. I would even say that this album might open doors to greater understanding, for those that seek it. Highly recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars It's very good, but still a little disappointment, July 5, 2003
By Mikko (Helsinki, Finland) - See all my reviews
This is indeed a very good album also. But the earlier album "King Fear" was such a masterpiece that this one actually was a little disappointment.
"Lucibel" and "Mother of Serpents" are highlights of this album.
