These were average headphones at best when they were working. I bought them a few weeks ago, and they provided me with an average sound quality. However, they inexplicably stopped working after a few listens. I do not recommend this pair, instead spend a little (or a lot) more money and go with Grados, top of the line headphones not listed on amazon.com.

These are great sounding headphones. Aiwa makes great headphones. Even has volume control. The only thing you will find about these is that they lose comfort on the ears after prolonged use.
