Hawking's external modemsupports the latest 56K V.90/K56Flex dual mode. This External Data/Fax/Voice Modem offers speeds up to 56Kbps over ordinary phone lines. By allowing downstream speeds up to 56Kbps from an Internet Service Provider (ISP), the delivery of Internet information is dramatically faster. Graphically intensive web pages, audio and video files will download at nearly twice the Modem rate previously available. To aid in its operation, this modem is software upgradeable, which will allow you to download new codes, drivers and updates. Furthermore, the plug-n-play installation will get you online within minutes. This modem is compatible with the popular PC operating systems including Windows 95/98.
