Jeremy Camp is now my favorite musician!, October 23, 2002
This album is truly anointed. I bought the album after hearing just one track. I don't remember the last time I heard music that inspired me to such a degree as this. The main thing that stands out to me is that this man knows the Lord, Jesus Christ. He's not just singing about something he learned, he's singing to God Himself. I play this cd constantly, especially when I have time alone with the Lord. These songs bring forth declarations I couldn't express before. I know Jeremy's been through so much; losing his wife last year, putting an album together, life as a believer. There are several amazing tracks on this album.1)Understand--Just basically telling God that he sees God's hand over his life. 2)Right Here--Jeremy recognizes God's presence through even the hardest times. 3)Walk by Faith--Every man has to make a decision to walk by faith. 4)Stay--Exhortation to someone who is being pulled away from the light of Christ. 6)I Still Believe--My favorite song! I could listen to this song all day. 7)One day at a time--There's only way to walk life's road; one day at a time! 8)Breaking My Fall--Second-favorite track. Powerful message. Jeremy recalls seeing God break his fall. The chorus ends with..."what am I supposed to do?" I wonder the same thing. How do we show our amazing God how greatful we are? 10)I know you're calling--Perfect song for someone who knows that God is calling them. 11)Take my Life--This song is a bit more Rock than the rest, but has an amazing chorus. Some things were meant to be shouted, not just said: "Take my life, take my mind, take my soul, take my will, cus' I am yours Lord, I give it all to you." 12)In Your Presence--Just hit "replay" on this track and let the Presence of God consume you. This album is a must-have for EVERY believer and a great gift for non-believers. Jeremy, if you read this, I love you in the Lord! Stay blessed, and don't ever compromise. In Christ, Joel. Don't ever doubt in the dark what God's shown you in the light.
