Amazon.com Review
The Shopmaster MS275 makes quick work of compound angle cuts with sliding work-support extensions to handle longer stock. With a more powerful motor than the MS250, you're getting more amps and more aggressive cutting. Another upgraded feature on this model is the trigger-control miter indexing mechanism that offers quick, accurate setup of your miter angles. Delta did a little work on their dust collection, too, and came up with a new design that draws chips and dust into the collection bag. Like the other saws in the Shopmaster line, this one will slice a two-by-six or a four-by-four at 90 degrees as well as compound-cut a 4-inch workpiece at 45 degrees by 45 degrees. The patented base mounts handily on two-by-fours for setting up shop anywhere. The work support extensions increase the length from 18 inches to 39-1/2 inches when fully extended. We like the work clamp, too--a nice addition lacking in the lower-end models. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste
