5.0 out of 5 stars I can't believe I'm the 1st one to review this 2 song single, October 17, 2002
By A Customer
First of all, "Breathe Your Name" is an excellent song. It has been getting significant radio play & considerable attention. But if you are like me, you don't care if it is on the radio; you'd rather hear something good & original. Well, this song is both things. The B-side is a song called "Northern Lights". "Northern LIghts" was originally going to be on the upcoming album Divine Discontent. Sadly though, so much time has transpired since then that this brilliant pop song got cut to make room for newer material. I sure hope that this is not going to be the only single from the amazing album Divine Discontent, because I hope the next single contains other cut songs, "Us" at the very least. Sixpence None the Richer is & was a defining band long before & after "Kiss Me". Perhaps this time around after a 5 year wait, people will listen to the entire album and discover the best kept secret in the music industry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Breathe Your Name, July 12, 2003
By A Customer
Wow! What a beautiful song! The melody will simply sink into your head, and this is just one of those excellent songs you can listen to in your car, and you just feel like your in a movie!I first heard this song on our radio at work which plays recorded cd's by our companys compiled musicians. I would look forward to it coming on, and everytie it did I ran into the back room to read the title on the music player. Her voice is solid and she hits every note so perfectly it will give you chills of joy. Why can't more famous female artists sound like her? Songs like this should be #1 on the charts, not this Michelle Branch/ Vanessa Carlton whiney pop junk. If your lucky enough to get this rare cd single, get it! Relax and enjoy the tunes! :0)

5.0 out of 5 stars highly essential., May 5, 2004
"Breathe Your Name" is excellent, of course. But we have that on _Divine Discontent_ so the real allure here is "Northern Lights", and it's absolutely brilliant. The dreamy, glittering pop production of _Divine Discontent_ with some of the most beautiful guitars in their entire catalog, it's about as enjoyable as music can be. And the vocal melodies and Leigh Nash's voice are enchanting. Is it worth it for the one song? Yes. buy it else you will not be as happy as you would be if you had it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Popart
The highest evolution of the pop song form. This ranks right up there as one of the greatest piece of ear candy that's ever been made (The Association beware).
