Supporting my wrist when I'm using a mouse is a must and this mouse pad does everything it needs to do: it's supportive and properly elevated, sized right, attractive and the price isn't unreasonable. Some plastics have a really nasty smell when they're first taken from their packaging. This didn't. It wasn't a huge effort to extract it from its packaging, either, as sometimes happens with these kinds of products. The translucent blue of the pad glows from the light on the underside of the mouse, which is kind of cool. Go ahead and spend a little extra on this -- you won't be sorry.
