If your reading this review you probably are really confused about what exactly make a "good" pot/pan. Well...I was like you when I decided that my "hand me down" pots/pans, had to go and I needed something more presentable for guest. I'm the type of person that will research stuff like this to make a better decision, and as I did I found that FABERWARE is really an awesome brand. When I received this cookware set, I was amazed. The are better than what I expected for a set under 50 dollars. The craftmanship is not shotty. The handles are metal and great for quick transfer to the oven, dishwasher safe. The color, being charcoal greyish the match with most any kitchen. The sizes of pots are PERFECT for the beginner who needs sort of everything. I'm a single guy, in an apartment here in NYC. I needed a cookware set that would meet all my requirements, guest, dates, parties and everyday use. The diversity of pot/pan sizes and the quality of craftsmanship makes this set a MUST GET for the "first-time or extra set" buyer.

I have found that farberware does not stand behind their products. I have this 10 pcs set and I loved it at first but after I used it for awhile the coating from the inside of the pan started coming off into the food that I was cooking. And to find out the coating on the inside of the pan is not guaranteed.(I am very disapointed in the FARBERWARE COMPANY I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING THAT SAYS FARBERWARE OR MEYER ON IT.)
I hope you think twice before buying.
