5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING, January 22, 2006
This is by all means a land mark album for punk and metal. This masterpiece foreshadowed thrash and (surprisingly) grind metal, having contained the first ever blast beat on track 21, "no sense". It is very hard to believe that this came out of 1982 (originally), for it pole-vaulted over every member of its genre, in speed and musicallity. If you are a fan of slayer, anthrax, (early) metallica, exodus, (early) voivod, or any other thrash band I failed to mention; along with the misfits, samhian, black flag, bad brains, or any other HC-punk band I failed to mention, than pick this one up, along with every other D.R.I release. Amazing band, amazing album. Best tracks= No sense, violent pacification, Money Stinks, Plastique...

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best early hard-core Punk albums ever!, July 6, 2006
By G. Iwanski "G Dude" (West side-Los Angeles) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I have been listening to this album for almost 15 years now...and, I'll probubly listen to it another 15 years.
It is one of the fastest, heaviest, most hard-core albums I have ever listen to, besides bad brains albums. This is a Must-Have for any one interested in listening and collecting albums of this era. I was astounded by it in 1990 and still even now.
I can not believe how fast the song "block head" is!!!! It is one of the fastest hard-core songs EVER!!!
Every single song on here is heavy, Hard-core and most especially....FAST....incredibly FAST,but, not as fast as "block head". besides The Bad Brains...Old DRI..the hard-core DRI are the fastest, best early 80's Hard-core band ever...and this album proves it. This band and this album are my favorite!
