GigaFast's EF1600-SI is a desktop-sized 16 port switch that can also be rack-mounted. It provides 16 10/100Mbps ports that automatically detect full/half duplex modes. All ports have auto-uplink capabilities to uplink to a standard port on another switch using a normal Cat.5 cable. Since the EF1600-SI also has rack-mounting capabilities it is not only suitable for home use it can be used professionally. GigaFast's EF1600-SI also has its own internal power supply, much like professional rack-mountable switches. This eliminates the need for AC-to-DC transformers, so that there won't be huge brick plugs taking up 2 or 3 outlets on the power strip. The pro switch design and the economic SOHO market pricing makes GigaFast's EF1600-SI the best choice for creating a home or work-networking environment.
