The high capacity 9000 model (1.3TB) can be attached to tape autoloaders to match tape backup requirements to the disk capacity for non-disruptive backups. DLT or SLR technology is available for easy backup and restore utilizing NDMP. Backup performance can be enhanced through the support of subnets and use of dual network connections to create a Backup Area Network (BAN).
