4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet debut album, April 16, 2003
By "elloronia" (San Francisco, CA) - See all my reviews
Natalise's debut "Forever Now" shows a refreshing, new point of view in music, but isn't quite enough to show her powerful voice. It's a mix of pop/techno/ballad, kind of confusing I say. I'd just point out a couple cool tracks..

- Tell Me, a typical pop track, it's a pretty upbeat start
- Love Goes On is her first single, already appeared on the compilation "Import Jams". It's a powerful dance track.
- Wonderful, another mix of asian freestyle and pop, pretty catchy
- Forever Now, a sweet ballad, the lyrics is sorta corny but touching, also it matches with the sweetness of Natalise's voice
- I Caught You, compare to the previous tracks, is a more catchy dance track.
- I Wanna Hold You Tight (Linus Remix) is yet another remix for that track, very nice freestyle beat but the sound effects gets annoying after a while...
- Finally, I Just Wanna Be With You, the hidden track is my favorite song in the CD. Very beautiful piano ballad and very catchy. You'd just start humming with it =D

The rest of the songs sound okay to me. I recommand you to get this album if you like the Asian freestyle and ballad. Although I don't like her "a little bit of everything" style very much, Natalise definitely shows her potential talent in this debut album. (If you've ever heard her live performance.. it's just so... beautiful =)

3.0 out of 5 stars Her first album, January 3, 2006
Her vocals are weird, she sounds Ok in ballads, but odd in the upbeat ones. Her voice hoppefully, changed a lot while recording her second album, which is a better album in my opinion, more mature and less confusing.I mean "Confusing",'cause this album has trance songs, dance songs and ballads all mixed with pop.Strange.

01.Tell Me:8.Is a bit childish, the lyrics are a bit easy and cheesy.I don't know how to say the style this song is,I think is a dance-pop song.Is very catchy though.
02.Love Goes On:7.The intro is repetitive. The lyrics are so-so.Again the song is catchy. Her vocals are strange.
03.Be Right Here:6,5.It's a fast ballad. It starts slowly but the chrous has fast beats.I like those beats. Is not particularly good or bad.
04.Wonderful:5.Chessy song,VERY cheesy in fact.It has a lot of "Dadadadada" sang in it.The lyrics are SO common. It takes a 5 because is catchy.
05.Forever Now:7,5.It is a nice ballad. The lyrics are alright and even though her voice sounds weak,I love how she sounds.
06.Anything:4,5.A trance/dance song.It has few lyrics and they are very common too.I don't really like this song, though the beats are good.
07.I Wanna Hold You:5,75.Kinda dancey song. The intro is SO long. Her vocals are weird and again it has pretty generic lyrics, the lyrical content in this album repeats in every single song. They sound mostly the same.
08.Sometimes:6,75.Ballad song.I like the lyrics but the song makes me feel bored.
09.I Will Be Waiting:8.A trance/dance song. The song is cute,I like it,though ut has few lyrics,I like the melody.
10.Dance All Night:3.Worst song in the album by far.The chrous is pretty, but the rest of the song...¬¬
11.I Caught You:8,5.One of the best songs in the album.I like the beats, the melody and the lyrics.
12.All I Need:8.Is a very slow song,but I like her voice and the melody.
13.How:6,75.A ballad.I like the lyrics but is a bit boring.
14.I Just Wanna Be With You:9,5.By far her best song.Is a piano-oriented song,It's beautiful. That's the best word for this song.

3,5*/5*

5.0 out of 5 stars This Album is off the hook, March 24, 2003
By Jason Walker (Austin, TX) - See all my reviews
If you are reading this, then you need to go ahead and add this CD to your shopping cart. This Album is H-O-T, and would make any club start jumpin'. Not only does Natalise's album have many tight beats, but she has the voice of an angel in her soulful ballads. Mad props to Natalise on a phenomenal debut album. I think Carson Daly has found his next TRL #1.
