Yahir, who gained popularity by becoming a finalist in the top-rated Mexican reality television show "La Academia" (in which aspiring artists compete against one another for a change to become the star of the future), presents his first album under the Warner Music Latina label entitled Yahir. This production includes ten pop releases. Armando Manzanero and Juan Luis Gimenez (Presuntos Implicados) authored many of the songs, along with a number of renowned composers. Oscar Lopez, also known for his work with artists such as Thalia, Miguel Mateos and Caifanes, supervised the musical direction of the album.

Leaving the fact that a couple of songs are not originals but then again many other artist do the same thing lets take Luis Miguel singing songs that are already known but yet he is a great singer and artist. As for the song Alucinado the lyrics are great and he sings it the way it should be sang romantic and powerful not techno as the writer of the song sings it I'm sure the writer is happy with the way is being sang and also happy to cash in the check he got for the song and the new attention he is getting because of Yahir. We have to give credit that this guy has a great and powerful voice I know he will only continue to climb up the ladder.

Yahir se ha formado a traves d la academia teniendo con anterioridad un grupo esperaba su gran oportunidad la cual le llego gracias a la idea de TV AZTECA y la academia, ha recibido todo el apoyo de las fans y de su compania de discos es por eso q podemos comprar su disco en USA y seguirlo dia con dia ahora a traves de DEsafio de EStrellas, es super sencillo y con un carisma enorme , esperemos verlo muy pronto en concierto y poder disfrutar de su musica en vivo, aunq su disco lo hizo con tanto amor q es como si lo estuviera haciendo en vivo magnificos discos Yahir, y la historia de Yahir en la academia 2 cds para tu coleccion

Yahir es el chico que viene a cambiar los estereotipos de artistas hechizos ya sea por la televisión de México o por la mafia de los Estefan, el llega con una sola cosa: TALENTO, a ocupar un espacio que esta libre en la música latina, no es hijo de ningún famoso ni tampoco esta siendo apadrinado por nadie, el se ha ganado lo que tiene a pulso.

Felicidades Yahir, te lo mereces, tu disco esta perrisimo. Mi favorita es "Aguántatelas corazón".
