If you're into burning your own CDs of custom MP3 music mixes and JPEG image files from your digital camera, the VE1510DV will play these as well.

An audio/video surround receiver and a powered subwoofer are required to enjoy Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround sound, though the unit will decode and amplify Dolby and DTS audio through its front two speakers and through its stereo (left/right RCA) analog-audio output. You can hang the VE1510DV on a wall or set it on a shelf.
