Digital signatures ensure the security of your digital design data. Digitally-signed drawings can be verified for origin, state, and nonrepudiation. The Communication Center provides access to current product-related information within the AutoCAD LT 2004 software user interface. Live Updates instantly notify you when an update or maintenance release is available for AutoCAD LT software. You can configure the Communication Center by specifying geographic locations, frequency of updates, and specific information to be displayed.

This software is probably a good value if you intend to use and keep it for a long time. Read the end user licence carefully. Autodesk license agreements prohibit the sale of license from person to person. The only exception would be when most of the assets of a company are sold to another company. If this does not concern you, great. If you're like me and want the option to resell in the future, not so great.

The latest version of AutoDesk's winning software has several new features that make upgrading a must for current users. Improvements in file size and manage-ment, file sharing, and in the user interface make AutoCad more efficient to use for drafting and collaboration with the various members of your project team.
