This affordable Coby compact stereo offers stylish good looks, 20-track CD programming, a cassette player/recorder, an FM/AM tuner with 20 station presets (10 FM, 10 AM), and 5 watts per channel audio power. The CD player offers intro scan (which auditions the first nine seconds of each track to help you identify the song you wan to hear), shuffle play, repeat play, and compatibility with most audio CD-Rs and CD-RWs.

The system's stereo speakers are ported for enhanced bass output, and the driver complement consists of a 4-inch woofer and a 2-inch tweeter per speaker. Preset equalization curves let you adjust the sound to your preference (choose from classic, rock, and pop settings), while a rear-panel headphone jack affords private listening. You can set the unit to turn off after a set period (up to 90 minutes in 10-minute increments) or set an alarm and wake to your favorite CD or radio station.
