3.0 out of 5 stars Works fine but..., April 13, 2004
...it's not the best way to go. If you want to download pics to your PC, you're better off owning a cheaper and more portable card reader, which just slips into any computer's USB port and accepts the memory card from the camera, using the PC's power to do the image transferring.
I don't think this gadget makes sense unless you are planning on shooting while plugged into a wall socket or unless you are planning on running a slide show directly from your digicam to a TV/monitor.

5.0 out of 5 stars A godsend, July 24, 2008
By bobwhite "bobwhite209" (Northern California) - See all my reviews
Wish I'd known about this product years ago! This adapter, even including the shipping charge, costs less than a single CRV3 battery, batteries that my Coolpix 3100 chews up and spits out like sunflower seeds. I do a lot of online selling using photos in my auction descriptions, so my camera is in a fixed location and I can keep it plugged in most of the time, saving me a small fortune. Used to go through a battery every week or two, Now, I may never buy a battery again! This product is a godsend!

1.0 out of 5 stars A useless piece of equipment
I purchased this product to charge my re-charageable batteries. It does not charge batteries. I will end up throwing it away. I wasted my money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality product
Nice quality. Its a two piece cord assembly with a detachable AC adapter. The cable is plenty long too. Best of all, no worrying about running out of battery juice!

4.0 out of 5 stars I recommend this retailer - Cameta Camera
Found what I wanted -- as usual -- on Amazon, ordered it, it arrived, it worked! What more can I say?
