Although this particular MiniCon team doesn't appear to be all that popular-- it's usually the only set left on the store pegs after all the others have sold out-- the Sea team has the advantage of possessing the most extensive articulation (poseability) of all the MiniCon sets. Each piece sports working shoulder, hip, and knee joints. StormCloud, the speedboat-looking robot, has elbows that bend up to a 90-degree angle. Waterlog's (hovercraft) head rotates. The only member with any real limitation to his poseability is Oceanglide, whose lower legs and feet are fused together, keeping him from doing much more than standing around. One big plus about this team is each piece's solid construction. Unlike most of the other MiniCons I've owned, I've yet to have a part detach from any of these robots while transforming them. Their transformation complexity is easy to moderate, featuring the usual "Bow/stern-folds-down-to-become-the-legs" and "arms-swinging-out-from the-sides-of-the-vehicle" gimmicks. Oceanglide is the easiest to convert (shown in two steps in the instruction sheet), and Stormcloud is the most difficult (five steps). But in spite of their articulation and durability, I'm a bit disappointed with the Sea MiniCon team in two respects. The first problem I have is that the boats look too similar to each other. The fact that all three pieces sport the same color schemes doesn't help matters. My second disappointment is with the missiles. While they are detachable, they don't really "launch" because their holders aren't spring-loaded. Otherwise, the Sea MiniCon team ain't a half-bad addition to any Armada TransFan's collection. And best of all, they're the easiest set to attain! `Late Post Script: This set has been released in two different color schemes. If you're planning to purchase this online, you might not necessarily receive the same color set that you see in the product photo shown above. `Later
