About the Artist

One Alternative is a trio of an oboist and two acoustic guitarists that have been in existence since 1983. Past recordings include Greenlawn (1986), Take Note (1988), Shadows (1990), Yet To Be (1996), and Changes (1998).

Pendulum contains 12 well crafted instrumental pieces mostly originals penned by Jill Haley & Mark Oppenlander of One Alternative.

The music can be described as an "acoustic fusion" that blends the influences of Jazz, Rock, Folk, and Classical styles together. Creative writing and inspired playing are the key elements that make this disc stand out.

One Alternative's latest, "Pendulum" takes the group to new heights. Their digitally mastered pieces are rich, expressive, and full-bodied, and the compositions are fresh and inspiring. This piece is a wonderful addition to any meditational collection, but is equally adaptible to a romantic evening with someone special. A must-have for your collection!
