5.0 out of 5 stars there best album, March 24, 2006
By "Giles The Axeman" (North Carolina) - See all my reviews
well after listening to three sabbat albums history of a time to come is by far there best one in my opinion, the speed hooks on the guitar are very catchy and the rythim is nailed right on the head walkeirs vocals at his best. iv'e listen to dreamweavers and that album just is not opened up like history to a time to come. this album is a great masterpiece. you definely don't hear music like this these days so check it out if you like speed metal, you won't be dissapointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars folkin' thrash, January 20, 2004
By mike (alabama) - See all my reviews
this is one of those records you look at and say...cover looks cool..i"ll but it!...i was blown away by this record from start to finish. great vocals, excellent riffs, only complaint was the drums were lost in the mix a bit. nevertheless. this is easily in my top ten metal cd's of all time. buy or die. too bad the next offering stunk. but, if you can find this..kudos. a true thrash classic with a touch of folk. still bangs heavy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal 80's Thrash!, November 4, 2006
By Tiziana Rubatto "Tizivamp" (Moss Beach, CA, USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
When you think about 80's thrash you can't forget to mention Sabbat!
They were fast, raw and violent!!! This album is phenomenal!
I love every song on this album, but my favourite will always be:
"Cautionary Tale"
"Hosanna in Excelsis"
"Behind the crooked cross"
"I for an eye"
I'm so excited that htey will be touring UK with Cradle of Filth... maybe they'll think about a re-union!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Black Sun
History of a Time to Come is a great thrash cd. Take the musical thrash of Dekapitator, the lyrical stance of Iced Earth, and the vocals of Overkill, roll it into one cd, and you... Read more
