From the Back Cover

Mr. Bonejack. Mulva. Demon Phil. Lady McPouchsweat. These are the characters that inhabit the twisted mind of writer/director Chris Seaver. Mulva: Zombie Ass Kicker follows the misadventures of a chocolate-addicted young girl celebrating Halloween with abizarre assortment of characters including the aforementioned Bonejack - a cross between Bill Cosby and Don King who saves the day by helping kick some zombie backside! Filthy McNasty is the outlandish tale of two nerdy chicks whose greatest wish comes true when a horny demon named Phil turns them into sexy sirens. But there's a price to pay for granting their wish . . . a price that's paid in blood (and other unmentionable bodily fluids)! Featuring Troma founder Lloyd Kaufman, B-movie diva Debbie Rochon, and many others!

5.0 out of 5 stars NIGGA' PLEASE!!!!!, April 7, 2006
I have to say I had no clue what to expect when I purchased this film.. actually it wasn't this version of the DVD but a collection from brentwood video titled GHOUL SCHOOL, the collection contained this film, FILTHY MCNASTY, GHOUL SCHOOL and a documentary titled SHOCK CINEMA.

OK so.. I chose to watch MULVA first.. grabbed a bottle of whiskey, conned a good friend to come over and let the good times roll.

From the first home video style moments of this film I was in love..

this was pure genius.. when you know you don't have the money why take yourself serious.. right.. right huh? huh?

but yeah.. ZOMBIES, Goofy ass characters like BONEJACK.. TEENAPE what the hell.. this stuff is insane..

MULVA was an amazing character and I have to say I regret the fact that they have turned her into a sexy buxom babe in the sequel.. I really liked the goofy ass super geek character..

but oh well.. what can ya say...

my fave part of the movie was the zombie proclaiming "YOU AIN'T SEEN SKILLS LIKE THESE.... NIGGA PLEASE!!!!"

but I can't wait to see the sequel and any other LBP films I can get my dirty little hands on..

I also recommend you watch FILTHY MCNASTY

uhm.. yeah peace out!

3.0 out of 5 stars Bottom of the barrel but strangely entertaining, January 21, 2004
It seems like everyone who reviewed this DVD before me either loved it or hated it. I fall somewhere in between the two extremes. The worst thing about it is the misleading cover. The attractive model pictured on the cover is not Mulva, and she does not appear in either one of the two movies. Mulva is actually a short, bespectacled, homely girl with chocolate smeared all over her mouth.

When I first started watching the movie I turned it off within minutes. I couldn't handle the ultra-cheap, shot-on-a-home-video camera look of it all. (I was later shocked to find out it was shot digitally.) A couple days later, some friends and I watched the whole movie. I remember commenting several times that it was the worst movie I had ever seen. Other than a few cheap laughs, it seemed that Mulva had nothing to offer.

Within a few days my friends and I were imitating the characters' voices, mainly Mulva and Mr. Bonejack. To date I have watched the movie five times and enjoy it more with each viewing. Those who are expecting good splatter FX should skip it, though. It was shot for $2000 so the makeup is pretty bad. The appeal of the movie lies in its energy, mainly in the ridiculously overwritten dialogue and the exaggerated acting (or nonacting) of the people involved. It's obvious watching it that everyone had a good time making the film.

Filthy McNasty was marginally better made, so I actually liked it less. It had funny moments, but wasn't as overwhelmingly cheesy as Mulva. A word of advice: a few drinks will make these movies a lot more tolerable. I recommend this DVD to anyone who can appreciate campy humor and really, really low production values.

4.0 out of 5 stars A cross between AIRPLANE! and Troma films!, June 6, 2003
By A Customer
Combines all of the elements that made AIRPLANE! and many of Troma's films work. Silly sight gags, ridiculous characters and on-the-fly gore...far more entertaining than any of the gross-out comedies that Hollywood's been vomiting out lately!
