5.0 out of 5 stars BETTER THAN I EXPECTED, June 14, 2003
By A Customer
since it's been years since the last full lenth album and they switched producers half way through the production of this album, i was a little nervous about how this record would turn out. Well...I am VERY impressed. SENSOR is, without a doubt, the best CAMOUFLAGE album ever. They've taken the best elements from each of their albums and married them into this masterpiece. The original trio is back together and they sound very comfortable with what they are doing. It took me over an hour to get past tracks 1-7 because they're that good and i kept going back. the cd starts of with the brilliant first single "Me and you" and it's b-side "Perfect". Then comes one of the best tracks on the album, "HARMFUL". Although it's a slower number - which most of the album is- Marcus delivers some of his best vocals ever. and very beleivable.Great lyrics and great melody. Next highlight is the next single, "I CAN"T FEEL YOU"- Starts of slow but builds into a big song. A little rock-ier than most Camo songs. Actually, i think that this song can be a huge radio hit in America if ever released here. Out of the 13 tracks here, two are instrumental and about 4 are uptempo. the rest are more mellow. But dont let that discourage you. Another slammin' track on here is "I'LL Follow BEHIND"-wait till you hear this! JUST AWESOME. Kind of reminds me of Depeche Mode's "It's No Good". Very fast and dancable. "Theif", which was released like four years ago, is included here. This song has been completely re-recorded and sounds nothing like the original. I happen to prefer the original and this is the only disapointing thing to me about this cd. But thats ok because i have the original single. This cd is perfect. Marcus' voice is just beautiful and delivers on every track. they couldn't have done a better job.Get this cd-its worth every penny you spend. Enjoy it and appreciate the fact that Camouflage always delivers and gets better and better in their 16 year carreer with every release. I havn't been this excited about a new release in a while

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the 10 years between albums., August 20, 2003
By David Gettis "The Final Say" (BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY) - See all my reviews
Umm, yeah, fantastic album. Superb. Worth the wait with no studio album release from '93 to '03. Top notch production, sound, and songwriting. Very powerful, edgy, smooth, and emotional. You can listen to it straight through, no problem at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best Camouflage CD yet!, September 17, 2003
By Vivek Batra (New York, New York United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I bought Sensor after reading the glowing customer reviews on here ... The last couple of CDs by Camouflage were patchy and disappointing ... this one is by far their best work! The entire CD is excellent, with scant fillers ... A bit like what Depeche Mode would have been like if they didn't get so tired and self indulgent (on their last couple of CDs). Buy it now ... you'll love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Camouflage album
This is the most solid album they have released. Yes, it is better than their newer CD Relocated although it is less "dancy", should that matter to you. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable!
What a surprise! I had listened to an old Camouflage release, and took a chance on Sensor. I would say it sounds like a great combo of 25% Gary Neuman, 25% Depeche Mode, 50%... Read more

This CD is quite a surprise. It is consistent, poppy but intelligent and very engaging. I would say more mature than their previous work, not as youthfully experiemental. Read more
