Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

It's been called the most controversial event in MMA (mixed Martial Arts) history. Now you can see the fights that took Southern California by storm. UA's production level set a new standard for MMA thanks to go-go dancers, DJ Aero's beats, and an eye-popping laser light show. The real action, however, took place before a capacity crowd. For the first time, two MMA teams (American Kickboxing Academy vs. Next Generation) clash in three heart-pounding bouts. Knockout artists Roman Roythberg and Andre Walker go head-to-head in a single match. Dennis Hallman also returns to the ring to face Buck Greer in a match that goes back and forth. Topping off the event, Rick Slaton takes on the Russian Leo Pavlushkin in a match that people will be talking about for a long time.

2.0 out of 5 stars left out best part, November 8, 2005
By C.H. (ALABAMA) - See all my reviews
I bought the DVD because of the brawl in the crowd that caused the last match to be stopped. The fights where Ok, but I was waiting on the end of the main event. When a few cups where thrown in the ring they stopped playing coverage and put on the screen why the match was stopped. If I buy a DVD about Ultimate Fighting why would I not want to see 200 people fighting in the crowd?

1.0 out of 5 stars NO MONGOLS BRAWL??, April 14, 2009
By Jack Twiller (Los Angeles,CA) - See all my reviews
Why would they take the time to release this knowing that the biggest part of this card was the riot that the Mongols MC started that ended the event? No one cares to see the other fights if we cant see the brawl that took place between the whole crowd. I understand people got stabbed and stuff like that, but why release this DVD with only 3 matches anyway?? Seems to me they were trying to capitalize off the popularity of the event but end up ripping you off.
