Amazon Verified Purchase

Canon sells a wide angle adapter for their HDV HV20 camcorder. However, the recommend adapter is much heavier and larger than this adapter and makes the camera front heavy and difficult to use. The video I've taken with this adapter, using the high definition setting, seems acceptable (I have yet to make any quantitative measurements of the picture quality). At the moment, at least, I am pleased with the performance of this wide angle adapter. Also, it is considerable cheaper than the recommended adapter.

It's amazing indoors and the quality is as good as the standard zoom on the camera. A must have for me since I like to shoot indoors.
