The CMP5000WXU is a high-definition Plasma Monitor that provides sharp and accurate images from both PC and video sources. Its display technology is specifically designed and engineered to deliver a bright, well-defined picture, day-in and day-out for extended periods of time. The CMP5000WXU is ideal for a broad range of commercial uses--from single-point signage and networked multi-site retail display systems to custom AV applications.

High-definition video and computer graphics
The unique deep-cell configuration of the panel increases phosphor area by 40% for increased brightness and clarity. An advanced color purity glass shield decreases external light reflectivity by as much as 30% (depending on viewing conditions). Combined with the advanced panel configuration, this provides additional gains in brightness and contrast levels, as well as improved rendering of gradations and color performance. Digital enhancement circuitry enhances the signal on a pixel-for-pixel basis for a sharper, more natural rendition of everything from text and graphics to video imagery.

Comprehensive display connectivity and control
The CMP5000WXU is compatible with both video and computer signals. It is also PC compliant and accepts a wide range of resolutions from VGA to WXGA. In most cases, it will automatically sense the incoming signal and optimize the display parameters accordingly. The RS-232C interface provides access to the operating system for connection to and control by third party control systems.

Life Extension Control
The display's useful life is programmable to convert peak brightness into extended periods of use-able display time. Select from several options to maximize the return on your investment.

Monitor ID Bit
Control up to 255 plasma panels independently via RS232. The "ID" Identification Bit technology provides an easy way to control, adjust and monitor individual plasma panels by assigning them a discrete code.

RS-232C Interface
Use this port for 2-way communication with the plasma. Ask the plasma panel for it's current status and change the performance on-the-fly through RS-232C and a compatible control system. System compatibility includes all of the major control manufacturers. A convenient loop through hook up capability simplifies installation.

Screen Savers
Utilize orbiting and wiping technologies to refresh the screen after extended display sessions.

Portrait or Landscape Compatible
Whether your presentation provides more impact in a horizontal or vertical position is your choice. The CMP5000WXU performs exceptionally in either orientation.

A variety of video card options are available allowing flexible input/output configurations.
