Lenox's Tuscany Classics line of sparkling, full-lead crystal offers Old World elegance with a nod to the contemporary. This teardrop-shape decanter not only adorns a dinner table or bar while serving up an Italian pinot grigio or single-malt scotch, but pours with perfect balance.

The open hole through the decanter's center adds a striking touch as well as making the bottle securely grasped. Holding 32 ounces, the decanter features a heavy crystal stopper and measures 14-1/2 by 6-1/2 by 3-1/2 inches. Fine crystal will last a lifetime if washed carefully by hand, dried gently, and stored safely. But accidents do occur, so under its lifetime breakage replacement program, Lenox will replace any broken piece that is in stock at 50 percent off the current suggested retail price. --Ann Bieri

I try to order from Amazon every chance I get, and actually own this item (previously purchased elsewhere). I wanted to buy it for my brother's birthday and although I read the previous warning review about it arriving broken, I had hoped that Amazon had improved it's packaging technique. Unfortunately, it hasn't when it comes to shipping glass items. I have never ever had a problem with Amazon and order a lot through them. This glass decanter was received broken in pieces, just as the previous review had warned. This is a great decanter, just don't order through Amazon. When I called customer service, the rep said, "Well, I can't guarantee the replacement won't come broken," so I said, "Then let's just do a refund." To which he replied, "Okay, you need to take it to the post office and ship it back." What a waste of postage and time.

The cap on the decanter does not seat properly. It wobbles and sits crooked. The design of the body of the decanter is wonderful. It's the cap that destroys the beauty of this. It just looks CHEAP.

I totally agree with the loose stopper. I am very disappointed that lenox would make a product with this default. I am a lenox LOVER, and usually lenox products are flawless. This stopper is actually very irritating. On a good note, the decanter itself is lightweight because it is made from glass and not crystal. The look is stylish, so if you have company, just leave the stopper off because people will think you purchased a faulty item.
