This CD is great. For those that know Colleen's music it is clearly different from Step Outside (her first album). This has got a bit more rock a bit more country sound to it. Very diverse throughout. For those of you that are Janis Ian fans -- she does a duet with Janis on this CD and it is an awesome song. For those of you that are a Martin Sexton fan - there is a duet with him also. Very nice song. Go out and buy this CD--it will be well worth it!

One of those "under the radar" CDs, Colleen Sexton's "Greatest Find" is nevertheless a very good disc. "Mean Streak" has a lovely melody with Janis Ian's guest vocals, "Your old man stayed late last night waitin on that one last flight; Love once strong has left him cold sitting in your house of stone." Marc Benno's "Golden Treasure" is given a good workout with some bouncy percussion. In the current hard economic times, "Venture Capitalist" may find an audience with the lyric, "She's selling love like junk bonds." "Old Days" is a haunting track detailing a failing marriage. "This Whole World" is an exceptional track with a buoyant chorus. "Way I Am" has a sputter lyric that would make Jules Shear jealous. The CD concludes with an uncredited 13th voice track, "Wild Bird in a Purple Plum." "Greatest Find" is a good disc with strong vocals, musicianship and songwriting. Enjoy!
