Strawberry Shortcake discovers that friendship and togetherness are the most important things about Christmas in this 45-minute, song-filled holiday program. Strawberry Shortcake is rushing out to do some last minute holiday shopping just as her closest friends arrive to help trim the Christmas tree. It's the berriest, merriest Christmas ever with Strawberry Shortcake and Honey Pie Pony and all their friends! Christmas is coming! Strawberry Shortcake wants to do something special for her friends, so she travels to a magical place called Holidayland with Honey Pie Pony, searching for the perfect presents. And she finds them! Then, a trip to the North Pole and a visit with Santa make the adventure truly wonderful. Unfortunately, a pile of melting snowballs turns Strawberry's carefully selected gifts into a soggy mess. In the end, Strawberry learns that the best gift of all is the gift of friendship.

My girls love Strawberry Shortcake and I was excited to find out that on this DVD Strawberry Shortcake tells the Christmas story - the real one! I couldn't believe it. Well I was a little disappointed when I discovered that it was tucked away in a special feature. My disappointment turned to disgust when the wise men went to Bethlehem to find "the first Christmas gift." No mention of Jesus - Political correctness at its worst.

My daughter absolutely loves Strawberry Shortcake as much as I did when I was growing up! We already owned Meet Strawberry Shortcake and Springtime for Strawberry Shortcake, and she watches them over and over and over again all day long. I find myself singing the songs in the shower! So, when I saw that there is now a Christmas movie, I had to get it for her! And I'm glad that I did because she loves it just as much as the other two. It is full of great Christmas scenery and catchy little Christmas songs (there is also a soundtrack to this movie that you can buy for all of the Christmas songs). The story is about Strawberry Shortcake and all of her friends at Christmas time. Strawberry finds herself stuck in the dilemma of what to get for each of her friends - she wants to get everyone the absolute PERFECT gift. All of the main characters are in this movie. It's a must have for any Strawberry Shortcake fan!
I'm kind of tired of hearing people saying that it doesn't live up to the Strawberry Shortcake of the past. I grew up watching and playing with the old Strawberry Shortcake, and although it has changed slightly, it is only a little bit in a appearance. They are better quality and a little bit more modernized... so what??? I don't understand what the big deal is. And it's not like little girls now even know the difference, so who cares? They are great movies! Especially this one! There is also a music video at the end that my daughter loves to dance to!

A Kid's Review

This is fantastic! I am twelve years old and i enjoy this movie. It is great for ALL ages.....NOT just for the younger kids...I haven't seen such a better cartoon role-model for kids in ALL my life...Strawberry Shortcake videos, toys, games, books and even video games teach kids important lessons for life, as well as friendship and more! I just started my SSC
collection this year...I can't get over the sweet lil' faces
and wonderful scents on the toys, and the GREAT quality films
and computer games and video games....They're awsome!!
