1.0 out of 5 stars Shamefull ripoff, January 8, 2008
By D. Malone "madroyal" (Western NY) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I received this school folder with 7 one sided copier pages of listed words. 2 pages were a list of ethnic foods you could serve. No recipes, no description or image, just a list, one item on a line (greens, sweet potatoes, corn bread...). What it says on the sellers page is exactly the information repeated on the pages. I am angry and ashamed that its one of the first African American enterprizes I've seen and that it had to be someones idea of a joke. The very least that could have been done was to mention the days of Kwanzaa and its meaning and it wouldn't have cost them any more. There was plenty of room on the few pages sent with next to nothing on them. It is not even useful to give away free. The publishing company is a fake too. Buyer beware, there is wonderful material out there encompassing the true spirit of Kwanzaa. (no image posted should have been my first clue. The one star rating is only because Amazon won't accept the review without a star.
