Complete 'California Jam' set from April 6th 1974, taken direct from the audio track of the two inch video masters. Those who have heard the results say it is a massive improvement on the existing CD. It also includes the missing track 'Lay Down, Stay Down'. The audio source is the same as a VAP/Purple Records version out in Japan. Features 7 tracks, mastered from original soundboard recording, & packaged in digipak format. For collectors only (sound quality is not comparable with normal CD releases). Purple Records. 2003.

this new live cd set signifies the same album "California jam 1974". The California Jam 1974 who was released by EMI record company in the UK for 4 years ago.
It is important to know:
you won't miss this new re-released Live cd by Sonic Zoom. The incredible live songs came from Burn Tour album in the US, what Deep Purple Mark III with Ritchie Blackmore on guitar, Dave Coverdale on vocals & Glenn Hughes on Bass played that night like burn, might just take your life, mistreated, smoke on the water, space trucking etc... were already released in the same full cd set in "The California Jam 1974".


This one is the same set and the same show in Ontario Speedway 1974 but with only one foolish unreleased track "Lay down stay down".
So do not waste your money for buying this one! just only for Lay down stay down. If you already had bought another one (by EMI record company UK), keep your finger from this!

Brillante perfomance de DEEP PUEPLE ante mas de 300.000 personas en el Ontario Motor Speedway, en 1974. No hay mas que escuchar el poder de la voz de Coverdale haciendo brillar gemas como "Might you take your life", dejarse llevar por un Blackmore furioso que literalmente destruye todo a su paso, sorprenderse por un Hughes mezcla de angel y demonio que nos deja exhaustos de solo escucharlo, en fin, un show para el asombro de una banda única en un momento mágico de su carrera: DEEP PURPLE MK III
