5.0 out of 5 stars Flower Power Violence at it's best!!!, January 3, 2003
By Projek-A (VT, usa) - See all my reviews
This review is from: La Revancha (Audio CD)
I got this album about 4 years ago...and it blew me away. This is, in my opinion, the best Spazz album. 26 brutal tracks about skateboarding, kung fu, and the demise of Emo. Great sound clips, and it also features the voice Kool Keith on one of the tracks. It doesn't get any better than this! If you hate Emo or you're into brutal tunes, get this album, pop it into your CD player, record player, or tape deck...it's a great way to start your day!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Like Dark Side of the Moon played with jackhammers and chainsaws, July 21, 2005
This review is from: La Revancha (Audio CD)
This album is a trip. It is the BEST modern hardcore album in my opinion, though uptight folks don't like to give Spazz props because they're not political. I really don't care what people like that think. Music and Saving The World are both good, but they aren't married to each other.

This is a catchy album. No, you're not going to mistake it for Morrissey, but the riffs and breakdowns will stick in your brain. You will have certain favorite songs - La Revancha is not just a homogenous blob of noise. Among the brutal riffs, primordial bass, and spastic drums are banjo (or is that a ukelele?), sax, and plenty of good samples. And, believe it or not, all of this FITS with the music. Must be heard to be believed.

Hear it and believe it.
