Makes Eminem look like a PG movie, August 7, 2001
A MUST HAVE FOR ALL TRUE HIP-HOP HEADS...Necro is a white/Jewish rapper from Brooklyn, NY. He has been in the game for awhile, although he hasn't of yet garnered the fame that he deserves. Necro completely rips it up on this album. His lyrical abilities are not to be messed with and his content matter will make some parents go running back for that Eminem CD they through out. The album's tracks flow perfectly into one another. Here's a review of each track: 1. The Most Sadistic - this sets the tone for the entire album. Instead of starting off with a tired intro, Necro busts right into a blazing beat. (Oh yeah, he produces all of his own beats, along with beats for underground groups Non-Phixion and Missing Linx). The song features his brother from Non-Phixion, Ill Bill. 2. Hoe Blow - one of Necro's 2 odes to oral sex. This one is downright hysterical. The chorus is a twist of "Here We Go" by Khadejah Bass feat The Product G & B, off Funkmaster Flex's album. 3. I Need Drugs - arguably the best song on here. Necro takes LL Cool J's "I Need Love" and corrupts it; that's a good thing. Even if you don't know the original, this song is great 4. Your F----ing Head Split - I want to say the beat is raw, but then I have no words for the lyrics. Phat track. 5. Your Dead - the beat is funny. The lyrics are scary. The chorus is hysterical. This song was stuck in my head for days. Also features Ill Bill. 6. Get On Your Knees - this is an underground classic. Samples Dionne Warwick, and not in a good way. Necro's 2nd ode to oral sex, where he wanders thru the world of pornography. Very clever song, with a great sample turned perverse. 7. Rugged S--t - strictly for the hardcore fans. Tight lyrics. 8. I'm Sick Of You - upbeat fast paced dis song. I think it may be toward a rapper called Marshall Mathers. You may have heard of him. 9. Cockroaches - samples the movie Scarface for the chorus. Listen to the song and find out what's going on in Necro's life. 10. F--- You To The Track - one of the weak spots on the album 11. Burn The Groove To Death - not sure where the sample on this one came from. Average song. 12. Underground - this is my favorite song on the cd by far. Samples the Monkeys. The beat is one of the greatest beats I've heard, and I have over 900 cd's. Words do not describe the genious of this song. The CD is worth it just for this song. 13. STD - a semi skit... funny. 14-17 are freestyles. Show Necro's true MC skills. Basically.... Buy the damn album!!!!!!!!!!
