Product Description

Product Description
Toddlers love to rock -- especially on a pony that plays music. The Musical Rocking Pony automatically comes to life with four riding tunes and three fun pony sounds whenever little ones rock. Soft padded mane, easy-grip handles, sturdy design and comfortable seat make it ideal for early riders. It's fundamental play that enriches baby's development -- in a brilliant way. Measures approximately 29" x 12" x 18". Holds up to 43 pounds.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this horse, but the stickers..., March 13, 2004
By Amy Armstrong (Schenectady, NY United States) - See all my reviews
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
Hello!
I have a baby girl that just turned a year old, and for her birthday, along with many toys, she got money, and I thought it was a perfect time to shop. I saw this pony, and fell in love.

It was very easy to put together (even for me!). The directions were very clear, and understandable, but the only complaint that I have is the stickers. The directions for where to put the stickers take a little time to read, and I must tell you - when you put a sticker on the plastic, it is on for good, and will rip if you try to remove it. Please be very careful when applying these. I am going to try to contact Fisher Price, and see how to get a new sheet of stickers. The two for around the nose I applied wrong, and I took them off. Now it has no stickers there:-(.

Otherwise this is a great toy. The sounds it makes are cute, and the songs are ones that I haven't heard on a children's toy lately. It is such an adorable pony!

I hope that this review has helped you. I would reccommend this to anyone, as long as your baby is over a year. ;-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Fun ~ Great Value, July 26, 2004
By Beach Mom of 3 "Kay" (Long Beach, CA) - See all my reviews
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this for my son and my grandson (ages 16 & 17 mos at the time) and they LOVE it! I have been taking care of my grandson fulltime so I bought two toys at the same time - this one and the rocking police car.. both are awesome. They each get on one and really get going & then they switch. It was easy to put together except for the stickers. Like another reviewer I ALSO put the stickers on around the nose incorrectly .. our horse is missing the sticker from one side but no biggie. It has 2 volume setting which is nice so the noise can be turned down if you are watching t.v. The price is right. The boys learned to lift their feet up and rest them on the rockers and despite rocking hard ... it has never tipped over. The boys have been using it everyday for 3 months and it is still going strong! I like it much better than I thought I would.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Toy! I Highly Recommend, June 20, 2004
By Always shopping mom (Scott Depot, WV United States) - See all my reviews
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
We purchased this for my daughter's first birthday and at first she didn't have much interest in it. However in the past month (she is now 15 months) she has really grown into it. She loves to scoot it across the floor and even though she can't get on and off by herself yet, I help her, and she has a fun time. She loves the music, and I do to! It is nice to hear older songs like Camptown races on a kids toy.
While I don't think this toy offers any educational value, it is fun and well worth the money.
