Product Description
The Parents Magazine Battat Busy Street activity cube is a fun-filled learning experience. The activities are simple enough for one-year-olds to understand and large enough for them to manipulate with ease. On top, they can move cars along tracks or twirl wooden shapes along looping wire. Choices around the four sides include rotating picture blocks until they form a picture of a tree, bee, or happy-face sun; turning any one of interconnecting gears to make them all spin; opening and closing a door and window. For the future, reversible alphabet blocks show a picture and its initial letter on one side, and the upper and lower case letter on the reverse. The various finger and hand manipulations will develop the muscles later used in learning to write.

This toy is absolutely wonderful. It is so safe and sturdy for the little one. My Son loves anything that has wheels! and is thrilled with the 4 cars in this busy street toy! After 4 months he still likes playing with it. Though many of "Parents" selections are good, this one is excellent. Encourages your kid to stand and play - so I think this is suitable for kids who are trying to pull themselves to stand.

I purchased this toy for my daughter when she was 11 months old. Now at 21 months she is definitely more interested in it then before. She plays with it every night before bedtime, and especially loves to push the cars and the wooden triangles around. I love that it's not noisy and can still entertain my daughter for at least a full half hour (believe me that's a LOT!). I think we will get a lot more use out of this toy. Overall, a great investment.

I bought this for my year old grandaughter and am more than pleased. It is very heavy so as the child stands up to play it does not move at all. The corners are rounded so there are no sharp points for the child to hurt themselves on. It will hold their attention for quite a while as there are five activities for them to play with. The price was very reasonable compaed to other similar products.
