The new imageCLASS D760 maintains Canon's outstanding reputation for quality and reliability in copying and printing. This digital copier/printer is intended for businesses that need a robust copier with maintenance-free performance. The copier features Canon's exclusive Single Cartridge System, which contains the drum, development unit, and toner in one easily replaceable cartridge.

A 30-sheet Automatic Document Feeder can accept originals up to legal size and reproduce letter-size documents at 16 copies per minute (cpm) and legal size documents at 12 cpm. Digital technology, through the touch of a single button, facilitates collating of multi-page documents. Enjoy fast, efficient paper handling through a 500-sheet front-loading paper cassette and a 100-sheet multi-purpose tray, which accepts a variety of media, including bond, plain and color paper, transparencies, labels and envelopes, for easy, no-worry operation.

The imageCLASS D760 also features Canon's Advanced Printing Technology (CAPT) for high-quality laser prints with a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. For added flexibility and user convenience, it supports both parallel and USB interfaces. For adding network printing capability in your office, an optional network interface is available.

Just purchased the Canon D761 printer/copier (feb 2004). This unit only supports two print servers... and I never heard of them. So it is not "generic" to most servers and should not be purchased if you need that feature. Reasonable printer and copy quality.

I used it only a few days, better than I expected, reliable, straight forward, no training needed. 30page adf on a table top copier un-heard of. printer has more features than I ever wanted on tabletop unit: overlay for office letterhead, also useful for watermark office logo, multipage print for record keeping in a tight space, toners are dirt cheap in the aftermarket, and hear good quality responses. I will find out soon. I may buy another for my home, if it goes on sale.
