TSS-750 is a complete multichannel music and home theater loudspeaker system featuring proprietary MMD drivers. With their compact and versatile design, the satellite speakers can be placed virtually anywhere - on shelves, or mounted on a wall using the included bracket. The center channel can easily be placed on top of, or on a shelf below, the television. The powered subwoofer delivers the bass impact and excitement for your favorite music and movie soundtracks. The satellites and center channel feature extruded and brushed aluminum enclosures.

After reading several reviews online that praised this system very highly, I decided to make the purchase without listening to them in person first. The reviews online were convincing that this system produced great sound.

Boy do I regret buying these speakers. I list the pros and cons, and show how the cons outweigh the pros:

PROS:
- very clear highs
- nice aluminum enclosures and weighted feel

CONS:
- the woofers on the satellite speakers are actually 2.5 inch instead of 3.5 inch, just like the other reviewer said
- there is practically no mid tones. This means all you get are highs which make the sound very "bright"
- for a subwoofer that is 10" and 150 watts, it is weak. I have a Polk Audio PSW10 subwoofer that is also 10" and 100 watts and the Polk is so much better than the Infinity sub. The Infinity sub is weak and the bass is low.

I really don't mind the weak sub, the satellites really stink. All they do is produce highs and no mids. Like I said, the sound is way too "bright". Get the Polk Audio RM6750 or RM6800 instead for a cheaper price and much better performance.

This is a very good set of Home Theater speakers. Not the best you can buy; but at this price near the top of the heap. They sound great. A bit bright, especially for our hardwood floor family room, but with a bit of tweaking at the Amp/Tuner they will be really terrific. Quality of materials and workmanship is very good. Aluminum cabinets add ummph, as opposed to plastic housings typical in this price range. If you need a good set at a mid range price, these or the Onkyo system are your choices. These are allot smaller and more attractive. See Cnet for more on these and Onkyos great mid-range system.
