Product Description
Never have hard brown sugar again. The ceramic brown sugar softener will keep brown sugar, popcorn kernels, cookies, raisins, or dried fruit moist.
Soak brown sugar softener in water for 20 minutes, then place the softener in a storage container with your brown sugar. The softener will keep the brown sugar moist for up to 3 months. When the sugar begins to harden, remove and allow the softener to dry overnight, then resoak and replace in the brown sugar.
Ceramic. Made in Canada.

Who knew there was such a way to keep brown sugar moist? My wife loved this present I gave her. Within a few moments, we had the sugar ring moistened and on the job! A month later, we still have soft, brown sugar. The good news: no more broken spoons, trying to get to the sugar. also, the maple leaf reminds us of our friends in Canada!

Even in an airtight container our brown sugar seems to harden up quickly. I soaked this disk in water and tossed it in the brown sugar container and now a week later the brown sugar is perfectly soft and workable. Very cool.

These little disks soften brown sugar, even after it is hard as a rock. It is smaller than a bread crust and works alot better. They are an inexpensive solution to an annoying problem. I gave them out as Christmas gifts this year. My mother had one for years and I just got mine. I look forward to always having soft brown sugar in the years to come!
